In the beginning of relationships, some think certain events or measures of time lead to something else...maybe "do not count the steps" as like "do not be looking forward when we have right now" or something like that. More as a response to MMT. Lovely haiku and photo!
Lovely thought... N the honesty of relationship only makes the journey worthwhile. if the steps are being counted, obviously we are walking with the wrong person. A very well composed lil Haiku :))
